Everyone

(Adema)

Finally you start identifying the way forward. You still fail on the second step, but at least you got the first one on lockdown. Up the stairs to the right, next to that green field, the epitome of what you want and what life gives you. After doing the hard work, you lose interest when it comes to settling the score. You are either going to have to push yourself through to the finish line or start refocusing your energy on different activities.

The validation makes you feel alive, but at the same time it takes life away from you. So much effort into a headless exercise based on rules you cannot control.

Does lowering expectations deprive you from enjoying life? Does everything become a welcome surprise or rather an exercise in foreseeing the storm coming?
